Why Parents Seek Evaluations or Testing

There are many different reasons why parents seek evaluations for their children. Through the use of comprehensive and individually tailored evaluations that consist of a variety of assessments and procedures, we seek to address these concerns and provide meaningful information pertaining to each child’s unique pattern of strengths, weaknesses, and needs. Our goal is to provide recommendations to help your child succeed academically, emotionally, behaviorally, and socially.

Other Considerations

Other reasons for referral are to provide answers to questions such as:

  • What is the best way to support my child’s learning at school?
  • What is the best way to support my child’s behavior at home?
  • How can I help my child establish and maintain healthy relationships with himself/herself and with others?
  • Why isn’t my child achieving academic success?
